How to make a home simulator?

I think the question is not easy to answer, because there are many parameters or many different solutions.

You can have many kind of cockpit , mono or twin , small like Cessna 150 or bigger like Airbus 380.

My choice is a Cessna 172, it's a small airplane and i like to fly with.

My aim is to make only the pilot part.

You don't find here a course about how to make a simulator but you can find a way to make some part of it.
